The Philanthropy Forum was a research and learning laboratory at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh between 2009-2021. Its flagship initiative was the Pittsburgh Philanthropy Project, a multimedia effort to democratize the study and practice of philanthropy.

Over 13 years , Kathy Buechel led a team of talented practitioners and students of philanthropy to create a trove of learning materials and produce a decade of lectures with leading international figures.

This website captures the outputs of the Philanthropy Forum, so that future generations of scholars, practitioners, and the giving public may continue to enjoy and learn from them.
